SMS Smart Messaging

Long SMS 

A "Normal" SMS message contains up to 160 characters. Mobimex system allows you to send longer SMS messages. Long SMS message can contain 170 or more characters and is charged as two or more normal SMS messages. An SMS with 170 characters is charged as 2 normal SMS messages. 

Binary SMS

A binary SMS feature allows the sending of rich-content via text messages. Mobimex supports this service. 

WAP Push 

A WAP Push is an SMS message that contains a link to a WAP/WEB page. On the mobile phone the message looks like a ‘computer window’ with text and options such as ‘OK’ or ‘Cancel’. If the receiver clicks OK, the mobile WAP/WEB browser opens a WAP/WEB page. 

WAP Push is priced as normal SMS, but if there are more than 30-40 characters in the text part, it may be charged as Long SMS.  

Sender ID 

The Sender ID identifies the sender of an SMS message. It can be changed for some routes.

Mobimex system supports Sender ID's containing either digits or characters. Instead of using unrecognizable number, your Sender ID could be the name of your company (‘MY COMPANY’).  

The Sender ID can be changed at no additional cost.
