How does it work?

A caller calls the line and the IVR asks for the type of mobile phone the caller possesses. The caller makes a selection from a menu by sending DTMF tones to the system. Then they are asked to choose the product they want, as well as product’s order number. Next step is to enter their mobile phone number, so the product could be sent and information for the network provider the client is using can be gathered. Once the IVR has all the information, it makes an http post request to the mobile server and sends the requested product to the selected mobile phone.

Billing system

Mobimex offers a Billing system, which calculates the profit and calls. The IVR sends information about the call duration and the country from where the call comes. This provides you or your clients with live statistics about the number of calls, their duration and realized profit.

Multiple services run on one and the same IVR machine

Mobimex has done a project for a company, which was using affiliate system. The services for different affiliates needed to be branded. For example, if a call comes from affiliate No: 1, then the greeting message is one and if it comes from affiliate No: 2 then the greeting is different.

To develop this service, Mobimex used DNIS (Dialed Number Identification Service), which provides information about the dialed number. Then the database is checked in order to understand to which affiliate this number belongs. Once this information is gathered, then a corresponding greeting is played; it has been specified in the database.

This service is quite useful if multiple services are run on one and the same IVR machine and/or if the used number is one for various services.

The payment mechanism for this service is based on premium rated calls, so the user pays a specific amount of money per minute, and this interchanges for each country.
