Credit Card Billing Over Telephone

This IVR system was created for a divertissement company selling tickets for different events.

How does it work? The client selects from a menu the type of event of interest and then, after selecting other details using DTMF tones, they are asked to input their credit card number and it's expiry date. The IVR produces a connection through the Internet with a credit card processing company and sends the details and waits for the response. Once the IVR receives positive response from the credit card company it generates a purchase number. If the caller chooses to do so, they can input their mobile phone number and receive this purchase number on their mobile phone as an SMS message.

IVR makes its connection over an Internet TCP/IP protocol to the credit card processing company and then waits for an answer. All the information during the call is logged in a local database. Mobimex have a secondary connection with the SMS gateway in case the caller wants to receive the ticket purchase number as SMS on their mobile phone.

Charging credit cards over the telephone line can be used for many other projects, it is easy and quite secure way for completing business transactions.

If you need more information on this project or you would like Mobimex to develop similar projects for your company give us a call.
